Ajmer, 10 October (HS). Former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is busy in laddu-jalebi instead of talking on the issues in Rajasthan. Nothing is kept in it. Here the Chief Minister does not have the freedom to work openly and the Minister does not know whether he is a Minister or not. Pilot was talking to the media at Ajmer Circuit House on Thursday.
He said that the arrangements in the state have deteriorated in these ten months. BJP should talk on issues like fertilizers, seeds, water, electricity, roads and education. Nothing was kept in these laddu-jalebi. The pilot had reached Circuit House in Ajmer after participating in social programs in Pushkar and Kishangarh. Here, while talking to the media, he targeted the BJP government. Pilot said that nothing is right in the government. Bureaucracy dominates. There are many centers of power. Power and organization are not united but are conflated. The minister is sitting after resigning and it is not known whether he is a minister or not. The Chief Minister does not have the freedom to work freely. There is no budget allocation for development. The public is having to bear the brunt of this.
On the question of the district, Pilot said that the government is not able to take decisions. Whatever decision is taken, it should be taken in the public interest. Whatever work was done by the previous government, if it cannot be improved then it should not be stopped. The government should work for the public instead of serving its own interests.
Regarding the results of Haryana Assembly elections, Pilot said that the results did not come as per the direction in which all the estimates, expectations, surveys and feedback were pointing. Who unanimously believed in the entire country that we will form the government here. When suddenly the results changed, BJP got the lead. Some written complaints have been given to the Election Commission. But it is true that the results were completely opposite to what was expected. Everyone believed that neither the public nor the BJP was happy with the government that was in power for ten years. This was the reason why the Chief Minister was changed after nine years. Congress will review these results. The alliance got a clear majority in Jammu and Kashmir. Obstacles were imposed there too, but people showed understanding and formed the government. We will form a government there and increase employment opportunities along with development. There will be a new beginning here.
Regarding the by-elections to be held on seven seats in the state, Pilot said that Congress has already made preparations and will fight the elections unitedly. Congress will register its victory on all the seats. When Congress goes public, the public will vote for it only. The election results in Haryana will have no impact in Rajasthan. This is a different state and the issues and circumstances here are different. Here people will vote for Congress. In Haryana, Congress got 40 percent votes and the vote percentage of Congress increased. Whatever Congress has to do, it will do and fight the upcoming elections with full enthusiasm.
