Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Wednesday inaugurated the newly constructed 'Gandhinagar Complex' of Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA) in Gandhinagar with an area of 7563 square meters at a cost of Rs 36 crore. On this occasion, he described the administration and Karmayogi (employees) as the foundation of the state government. He said that through these employees, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's resolve of a developed India will be realized by building a developed Gujarat.
Praising the employees of Gujarat, Patel said that the contribution of the employees is important in delivering the benefits of public welfare schemes and good governance policies of the government to the people and the common man in a systematic manner. Chief Minister Patel also laid the e-foundation stone of the new Officers Hostel building to be constructed in the SPIPA campus in Ahmedabad in the series of inaugurations and foundation stones of various development works under this Development Week. The Chief Minister said that if the public, administration and public representatives work together, then how good results can be achieved, we have presented an example of this by coming out safely from the difficult situation of the cyclone. Bhupendra Patel said that many Karmayogis serving in various departments of the government have also inspired the feeling of 'It's mine and I have to do' by taking initiatives in their own way and easily completing the works of public interest. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the work of all departments of the government has importance. Officers and Karmayogi serving in any department will build a developed Gujarat by working in public interest by performing the work or duty assigned to them with devotion.

Chief Secretary Raj Kumar said in the relevant address that this building of Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration is not just a building made of cement-concrete, but in this building, the spirit of civic service is highlighted in the employees of the state government by giving them various types of training. Is. This new building has been constructed in Gandhinagar so that the experienced and trained senior officials of Gujarat Government can easily impart training to the Karmayogis. He said that with the opening of SPIPA's new center in Gandhinagar, it will be easier for accomplished professors from many national and international institutes located around Gandhinagar to come for training as visiting faculty.

In this newly constructed building of SPIPA campus in Gandhinagar, facilities like assembly hall with seating capacity of 190 people, seminar hall with seating capacity of 100 people, 3 skill development rooms with seating capacity of 50 people, 4 faculty rooms, 3 discussion rooms etc. are available. Have been done. Apart from this, accommodation arrangement of 30 rooms and facilities like canteen and recreation area etc. have also been made in this building.
Director General of SPIPA Mohammad Shahid welcomed everyone and gave detailed information about the works and achievements of SPIPA. SPIPA Deputy Director General Vijay Kharadi expressed his gratitude. On this occasion, Gandhinagar District Collector Mehul Dave, SPIPA and various officers and employees of the state government were present, while about 5000 trainee Karmayogi also joined the program through virtual medium.
