There has not been much change in the latest ODI batting rankings released by ICC, but some players have definitely benefited from the new rankings. One name included in this is that of middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer, who is out of the Indian team, who played his last international match during the ODI series against Sri Lanka in August. Since then Iyer has been continuously out of the team. In the new ODI batting rankings released by the ICC, Iyer has gained 2 places and is now directly at number 13 with 658 rating points.
Three Indian players in top-10
If we talk about the latest ODI rankings, former Pakistan team captain Babar Azam is still at the top position with 824 rating points. After this, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli are at the next three places. In this new ranking released by the ICC, Australian team's explosive opener Travis Head managed to make his place in the top-10 again by jumping one place and reached number 10. Head currently has 677 rating points.
