Devendra Kadian has won from Ganaur seat of Sonipat district. He has defeated Kuldeep Sharma of Congress by 35209 votes. BJP candidate Devendra Kaushik is in third place on this seat. Due to not getting ticket from BJP, Devendra Kadian decided to contest the elections as an independent. Kadian won this election as an independent from Ganaur seat.

Kadian had said goodbye to BJP by releasing a video on September 10. He claimed very emotionally that he wanted a ticket from Ganaur seat, but BJP did not give him the ticket. Angered by this, he left the party. After not getting ticket from Congress, Rajesh June had contested the election as an independent candidate from Bahadurgarh seat. Rajesh June defeated BJP candidate Dinesh Kaushik by 41,999 votes.
