BJP's lead in Fatehabad, Congress's lead in Ratia and Tohana intact, margin reduced | News India

Fatehabad, 8 October (HS). There is a close contest in the three assembly seats of Fatehabad district, Tohana, Ratia and Fatehabad till 11:30 am. In Fatehabad Assembly, BJP candidate Dudaram is maintaining his lead from the first round, while in Ratia, Congress candidate Jarnail Singh and in Tohana Congress candidate Paramveer Singh are also maintaining their lead.

Counting of 8 rounds out of total 18 rounds has been done in Fatehabad Assembly. Here BJP's Dudaram is leading by 5877 votes. So far, Dudaram has got 39810 votes, Balwan Singh Daulatpuriya of Congress has got 33933 votes, while at the third place is independent candidate Rajendra Chaudhary Kaka, who has got 5275 votes. 385 people had pressed the NOTA button in 8 rounds. In Ratia, the second assembly of the district, out of 17 rounds, 7 rounds have been counted. After this, Congress candidate Jarnail Singh is leading by 9393 votes. Here Jarnail Singh is at first place with 36025 votes, BJP candidate Sunita Duggal is at second place with 26632 votes and INLD's Ramswaroop Rama is at third place with 1947 votes.

Counting of 5 rounds out of 17 has been done in Tohana, the third assembly seat of the district. After 5 rounds, Congress's Paramveer Singh is at the first position with 27123 votes and a lead of 3981 votes, while BJP's Devendra Singh Babli is at the second position with 23142 votes and INLD's Kunal Karan Singh is at the third position with 2517 votes.
