Dehradun, 08 October (HS). Uttarakhand Director General of Police (DGP) Abhinav Kumar examined the preparations by holding a meeting with senior police officers at the police headquarters on Tuesday regarding the proposed tour program of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Uttarkashi and Dehradun. The DGP gave instructions to make adequate security arrangements and make everything OK before the arrival of the Union Home Minister.
During the meeting, the DGP reviewed the security arrangements, traffic and parking arrangements made in view of the visit program of the Home Minister and instructed everyone to remain alert and vigilant in discharging their duties in view of security.
The Director General of Police said that all security arrangements should be completed on time and people should not face problems. Besides, instructions were given to complete the preparations for the proposed review meetings of the Home Minister on time and to conduct the briefing and rehearsals on time.
Additional Director General of Police Intelligence and Security AP Anshuman, Inspector General of Police Headquarters/P&M Vimmi Sachdeva, Inspector General of Police Crime and Law and Order Nilesh Anand Bharane, Inspector General of Police Garhwal Zone Karan Singh Nagnyal etc. were present in the meeting.
