Palamu, 8 October (Hindustan Reporter). A meeting of the Trust Council of the District Mineral Foundation Trust was held in the auditorium of the Collectorate on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan. During this, compliance with the instructions given in the last Trust Council meeting was reviewed. During this time, it was said that tenders for many schemes have been floated, while work has also started on some schemes.
The Deputy Commissioner directed to speed up the implementation of the related schemes where the work has not started or the tender has not been issued. Besides, the mining officer was also asked to speed up revenue collection. Apart from this, other schemes received agenda wise were also discussed. In the meeting, it was decided to purchase sweaters and lowers for the children of Anganwadi Center in view of the upcoming cold. 150 wheelchairs will also be purchased under the Social Welfare Department. It was also decided to obtain the list of model booths from the District Education Officer and provide all the basic facilities there. Apart from the above, other schemes were also passed in the meeting.
On this occasion, Deputy Development Commissioner Shabbir Ahmed, DFO, Civil Surgeon, Palamu and Chatra MP representative and other district level officials joined the auditorium while Block Chief, Deputy Chief, Chief and Deputy Chief remained connected in virtual mode.
