KVS Class 1 Admission 2024: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) today announced that the registration process for admission to Class 1 for the academic year 2024-2025 will begin on April 1 at 11 am. After which parents will be able to apply online for the admission of their children by visiting the official websites kvsagathan.nic.in and kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.
Question paper is divided into 5 parts
As per the notification, the admit card is divided into five sections, each designed under a separate tab. Which has different section/tab titles. In the Parents In tab, basic information like- details of parents, choice of schools, uploading of documents, declaration and submit etc. will have to be filled.
These documents will be required during application
- a valid mobile number
- a valid email
- A digital photograph or scanned photograph of the child taking admission (JPEG file of maximum size 256KB)
- Scanned copy of child's birth certificate (JPEG or PDF file of maximum size 256KB)
- Details of government certificate if you are applying under Economically Weaker Section
- Transfer details of parents/grandparents whose service credentials will be used in the application
The form will be considered successful only after receiving the submission code from the portal.
Parents should note that unless they receive the application submission code from the online admission portal, the application will not be considered submitted to the organization. For admission in single girl child category, parents will also have to upload relevant documents.
Age Range
For admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1, it is mandatory for children to be 6 years of age. Age will be calculated from March 31, 2024. At the same time, the age of the child should not be more than 8 years. In KV new admission, 15 percent seats will be reserved for SC category, 7.5 percent for ST category and 27 percent for OBC.
