Srinagar, 7 October (Hindustan Reporter). MP and former MLA Engineer Rashid said on Monday that all regional parties in Jammu and Kashmir should unite and demand restoration of statehood.
He said whoever wins majority in the upcoming elections should unite and collectively put pressure on the central government to restore statehood.
Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, he told the media that I suggest that all the regional parties of Jammu and Kashmir including Congress, National Conference, PDP, People's Conference and others should unite on this front. He said that no new government should be formed until statehood is restored.
