President of the society Kuldeep Kalra told that this time Ram will burn the effigy of Ravana while standing on the carpet brought from Ayodhya. For this, the team of Mahila Mandal of the society will leave for Ayodhya from Dussehra ground on 9th and will reach Alwar with the Raj on 10th October. This Raj will be handed over to the Speaker.
Program coordinator Rakesh Arora told that Purusharth Samaj has been burning effigies of Ravana since 1948. This program did not take place for 2 years during the Corona period. This time Delhi's famous Pungi Party and Punjabi Dhol tableau will be included. Attractive colorful fireworks will be performed by the artists of Ghaziabad. The scenario of Ramayana will be shown on big LEDs. The tableau will start from Purusharthi Dharamshala Vivekananda Chowk and will reach Dussehra ground via the main roads of the city. The procession will be welcomed at many places. During this time, General Secretary Rajesh Makkad, Mahesh Khatri, Vishal Gandhi and other members of the committee were present in the press conference.
There will be three layer security of the stage
This time the security of the stage will be three layer. Organizers said that every time there is a huge crowd on the stage. Therefore the stage will be surrounded by three layer security. No one will be able to go on stage without permission and without checking. 3000 chairs have been arranged for the general public in the program. For this, passes have been distributed by the committee. This time, 65 feet effigies of Ravana, 60 feet Kumbhakaran and 55 feet Meghnath are being prepared by the Purusharthi Committee. Which will be burnt on the day of Dussehra. From September 20, the artisans are preparing these effigies in the Dussehra ground itself.
Demand to give ticket to Purusharthi Samaj in Ramgarh by-election
This time, in view of the Ramgarh by-election, Purushartha Samiti has demanded BJP to give ticket to a person from the society. Convenor Rakesh Arora said that Purusharth Samaj has always been dominant in Ramgarh seat. The Purusharthi community includes Punjabi, Sikh, Rajput and Sindhi communities. In such a situation, BJP should give ticket only to the person of Purusharth community. If BJP does not give ticket to a person from Purusharth Samaj, then the society will meet after Dussehra and take an appropriate decision.
