Araria, 07 October (Hindustan Reporter). Bhargama police station of the district arrested a criminal with an illegal weapon on Monday. Police have recovered one pistol, three nuts, two live cartridges, two empty magazines and Rs 15,000 from the criminal.
Giving information in this regard, Forbesganj DSP Mukesh Kumar Saha said that seven days ago, on September 30, four unidentified persons on two bikes were killed by CSP operator Sudhir Kumar Suman, father of Satyanarayan Sah, resident of Majhuwa Tola, Ward No. 3 of Vishariya Panchayat, from Birnagar JBC bridge. 43 thousand rupees were looted by the criminals on the strength of weapons. After the above incident, with the help of scientific and technical research, the primary accused of this case, Mohammad Jamal alias Doma, father of Meharuddin Mian, resident of Jorganj village of Janakinagar police station area of Purnia district, was arrested. Sent to judicial custody. The primary accused in the case, 30-year-old Mohammad Sultan, father Mohammad Sattar, resident of Jorganj village of Janakinagar police station area of Purnia district, was arrested.
During the raid, the looted amount of Rs 15,000 along with one pistol, one three-nut, two live cartridges and two empty magazines were recovered from the house of criminal Mohammad Sultan. After the said recovery, case number 306/24 was registered in Bhargama police station on 7th October. He was registered under Section 25(1-B) A/26 Arms Act and sent to judicial custody.
