Ahmedabad, 06 October (Hindustan Reporter). Prime Minister Narendra Modi was sworn in as the 14th Chief Minister of Gujarat on 07 October 2001, this year it will complete 23 years on 07 October. 'Development Week' will be celebrated in the entire state from 07 to 15 October 2024 to tell the people about the achievements of Narendra Modi since taking oath as the Chief Minister. The state cabinet meeting held on Sunday under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel acknowledged Narendra Modi's contribution to the global and multifaceted development of Gujarat.

Gratitude was also expressed to Narendra Modi for his continuous guidance in this all-round development journey of Gujarat and the new milestones of development and good governance that Gujarat has set with his inspiration for 23 years since 2001 are celebrated every year. It was decided to celebrate 'Development Week'. State government spokesperson and Health Minister Hrishikesh Patel gave detailed information about the programs organized with various themes during this 'Development Week'. He said that the government is committed to the long-term and sustainable development of Gujarat by involving all Gujaratis in the celebration of 'Development Week' to be organized from 07 to 15 October.

Spokesperson Minister said that this year during the 'Development Week', various types of programs will be organized across the state, in which cultural programs will be organized with the presentation of local artists of the respective place. Additionally, with the hashtag 'Development Week', citizens will share their experiences on social and digital media regarding Narendra Modi's good governance initiatives and their impact on social life.

Vikas Padayatra at 23 iconic sites

People will be introduced to the important contribution of Narendra Modi in the development of the state through Vikas Padyatra at 23 iconic places in various districts and cities, which have become famous due to the development work done during 23 years of good governance under the guidance of Narendra Modi in Gujarat. In this context, the Health Minister said that Vikas Padyatra will be organized at other places including Statue of Unity, Sabarmati Riverfront, Surat Diamond Bourse, Nadabet, Pavagadh, Shyamji Krishna Verma Memorial, Smriti Van, Ambaji, Dwarka Sudarshan Bridge and Tribal Martyr Memorial of Pal Dadhav. Will be organised. He further said that under multidimensional events to connect students and youth power in 'Development Week', essay competitions based on the theme of development will also be organized in schools and colleges. Not only this, Bharat Vikas Pledge will also be given for people's participation in development. During this period, it has been decided to celebrate wall painting, inauguration and foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 3500 crore and various theme based days.

Spokesperson Minister said that this period of 23 years has become a transitional period for good governance and development of Gujarat. Now, the goal of creating a developed Gujarat is to be achieved to realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi's resolve to build a developed India by 2047. To achieve this goal and further advance the development story of the state, the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has decided to celebrate 'Development Week' in a planned manner every year.
