According to the information received, a case has been registered against a 62 year old policeman in this matter. Who was posted as Havildar in the police station of Wadalakh on Mumbai Goa National Highway. According to the police, the accused was friends with the victim's father. Taking advantage of this, the accused raped a 14-year-old minor and threatened to kill her father if she told anyone about this.
The victim was very scared after the incident. Therefore he did not inform anyone about this. Taking advantage of this, the accused took the victim outside the enclosure and the city for two years and raped her several times.
Fed up with these incidents, the victim finally informed her father about the entire incident. So this incident came to light. After this the father immediately contacted the police and lodged a complaint. Based on the complaint, Wadal police registered a case against the accused under POCSO Act. As soon as the case was registered, the accused policeman absconded. The police conducted an intensive search for the accused in this case.
