Nitin Gadkari: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has once again attacked the government through gestures. He said there is a lot of talk about making India a 'self-reliant India', a five trillion dollar economy and a world leader, but people should change themselves before giving advice to others.
Nitin Gadkari arrived at the unveiling of the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Sangli. NCP President Sharad Pawar was also invited to this program. Nitin Gadkari said that even today people can take inspiration from Shivaji Maharaj.
There is talk of becoming a world leader but…
The Union Minister said that if we adopt any of the qualities of Shivaji, it will take our society and country far ahead. There is often talk of making India a 'self-reliant India', a five trillion dollar economy and a world champion. But if we want to do all this in reality then we will have to change ourselves.
Whom did you point out without taking names?
Nitin Gadkari further said that it is easy to ask others for change but before giving advice to others, one has to initiate the change oneself. He neither took the name of any person nor gave any information as to whom he was referring to now.
mention of lok sabha elections
Gadkari said that caste, money and crime have become the biggest factors in politics. 'Leaders have to follow the principles of Shivaji Maharaj to purify politics and adopt his idea of good governance for the benefit of the society.' He also said that when I had contested the Lok Sabha elections, I had made it clear that even though I would not get votes, I would not indulge in caste-based politics.
