Gujarati Khandvi Recipe : Khandvi is liked very much by small children. Here we will tell you how to make Khandvi easily at home.

These things will be required to make Khandaavi

  • Gram flour,
  • Turmeric,
  • Asafoetida,
  • Salt,
  • sour curd,
  • Water

khandvi Method of preparation

  • Take 1 cup gram, add half teaspoon turmeric, asafoetida, salt, one cup sour curd and water to it. – Then mix everything well.
  • Pour this batter in the pan and let it boil. Let it cook for 12 minutes while stirring continuously.
  • – Spread the Khandvi batter in a big steel vessel after applying oil.
  • – Then let this batter cool for 4 minutes. Then make a cut in it at a distance of two inches. Now roll.
  • You can also spread the khandvi batter on a large plastic kitchen platform. Apply oil on plastic also.
  • – Now for Vagharia, take 4 spoons of oil in Vagharia, then add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, asafoetida, sweet neem leaves, chopped green chillies and stir.
  • Pour this mixture over the Khandvi with the help of a spoon. Your khandvi is ready. You can also add chopped green fennel and coriander to it. This is a ready to eat hot meal that kids love.
