Buvi: Abundance of family and nepotism in teacher recruitment – News India Live

Jhansi, March 09 (Hindus). On Saturday, workers of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad in Bundelkhand University continued an indefinite fast demanding suspension of the recruitment process and an impartial investigation and strict action against the guilty persons due to the irregularities being committed by the university administration in the ongoing teacher recruitment in the university. It continued for the third day today. ABVP alleged that in the past and even in the present, there is a lot of family and relativeism.

National Executive Member Manendra Gaur said that the university, adopting a stubborn attitude, has not yet made any announcement either to cancel the recruitment process or to conduct an investigation. The fasting students said that the most talked about case is of the Banking, Economics and Finance Department of the University, where the University has directly appointed a candidate in the 12th band on the post of Assistant Professor, UGC approved, through the self-financed scheme.

It is being told that the above teacher is the son-in-law of a teacher working on an important post in the university administration and for the above appointment, a huge amount of money was transferred in the International Center of the University. A letter related to the above information had gone viral on the family group of Bundelkhand University a few days ago.

In the context of the above teacher, it is being told that in his previous appointment, he was not included in the interview considering him ineligible for the post of Assistant Professor of Economics, but this time he was directly made Assistant Professor.

There was so much arbitrariness and corruption in the recruitment of teachers in Bundelkhand University that when a teacher's management API was accepted for economics, an expert in economics was called for the post of M.Com and management.

What's more, the Dean of Arts was made to sit in the interview for selection in the management subject. In view of all these incidents, the movement of the Student Council is being said to be very right and logical. The same panel, an expert in economics and the dean, appointed a commerce candidate to teach economics in EWS for assistant professor even though he is a millionaire.

Department Coordinator Harsh Kushwaha said that the Vidyarthi Parishad has set up a scholarship helpdesk at the site of the indefinite fast, in which the forms of the students which have not been forwarded from the university and college level have been received. In which due to their negligence it has not been forwarded from the university/college level. For this, forms are being collected, the answer to which will have to be given by Bundelkhand University administration.

Metropolitan Minister Suyash Shukla said that the council has firmly decided that until the university administration takes appropriate steps against corruption and resolves the problems of the students, the student council will not break its resolve and this fast will continue. District coordinator Harsh Jain said that “corruption will be eradicated only when ABVP wakes up from the fast”. The indefinite fast will continue till teacher recruitment is canceled and investigation is done.
