Amethi, 03 October (HS). In Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh, a teacher, his wife and two daughters were shot dead late in the evening.
35-year-old Dalit teacher Sunil Kumar, his wife and two small girls, living in a rented house near Ahorwa Bhawani intersection under Shivratanganj police station area of Amethi district, were brutally shot dead in the late evening. By the time the police and local people entered the house, the miscreants had fled after committing the murder.
It is noteworthy that the deceased teacher Sunil Kumar was a resident of Jagatpur village under Sadar Kotwali area of Rae Bareli public. He was working as an assistant teacher in Panhauna Composite School. It is being told that Ram Gopal had two sons. On August 18, Sunil's wife Poonam Bharti registered a case against Chandan Verma under the SC/ST Act for indecent acts and assault in Rae Bareli district. But the case was hushed up by the police by challaning him under section 151. After this such a big incident has happened today. Now everyone's eyes including the police are fixed on Chandan Verma. Along with Amethi Police and SOG team, the city police of Rae Bareli are also engaged in search of Chandan Verma.
As soon as information about the incident was received, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences and directed the officials to reach the spot immediately. He has also ordered strict action against the culprits. CM Yogi said that strict action will be taken against the culprits.
