To solve the problem of jam in Shaheed Shubham Singh Chowk of Nagar Panchayat Barsoi, Chief Councilor Vimala Devi on Thursday submitted a demand letter to SDM Dixit Shwetam and Municipal Executive Officer Rajneesh Kumar. He has demanded traffic police so that the problem of jam at the intersection can be solved.
Chief Councilor Vimala Devi said that the problem of traffic jams arises due to encroachment of the road and parking of autos on the road by auto drivers. He has demanded removal of encroachments and arrangement of traffic police so that the problem can be resolved.
Apart from this, cleanliness campaign is also being run in the city and special instructions have been given regarding cleanliness. City Executive Officer Rajneesh Kumar said that to solve the problem of drainage, a drain is being constructed and instructions have been given to the employees regarding cleanliness. Special programs are also being organized to make people aware.
