For this, people were told that they would be given free ration, for which their Aadhar cards and photographs were also taken. Biometrics of some people were also taken.
Thousands of SIM cards were sent abroad
After purchasing the SIM card, it is activated and then the bid is placed. Cyber thugs from China to Malaysia used to buy these SIMs.
Police said that till now more than 20 thousand SIM cards have been sent abroad. In return, the people of this gang had printed lakhs of rupees. Police have recovered many SIM cards, biometric devices and mobile phones from these accused.
