Usman wrote in a post on social media, “Today I am announcing my retirement from Pakistan cricket team. The journey of cricket has been amazing for me. An upcoming cricket career

Usman made his debut in Pakistan cricket team in the year 2020. After this he played 1 ODI and 25 T20 matches for the team. He has only one wicket to his name in ODIs. Whereas in T20 International, he took a total of 31 wickets in 21 innings. During this period, he spent runs in T20 at an economy of 7.95. Apart from this, he also once took 4 wickets in his name. Usman played his last match for Pakistan in October 2023. After this he did not get a chance.
