Alert of heavy rain again in Nepal: After heavy rains in Nepal for the last few days, floods and landslides have caused massive destruction in many areas. In which more than 240 people have died, the Meteorological Department has issued a government alert predicting heavy rains again in Nepal.
Heavy rain forecast again
Nepal's Home Minister Ramesh Ukhtar has directed officials and disaster management agencies to remain on high alert. Because according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in Koshi and Bagmati areas including Kathmandu on Wednesday and Thursday.
Government alert regarding extremely heavy rains
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has warned of possible threats of extremely heavy rain in parts of both provinces. The Home Minister has asked the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), chief district officers and local governments to remain aware of potential disaster risks.

The Ministry has asked people to be alert regarding extremely heavy rains. Ramesh Writer asked people to be cautious while traveling on major highways and roads in view of floods and landslides during heavy rains.
13,071 people were rescued from flood affected areas.
Home Ministry spokesperson Rishiram Tiwari said that so far 13,071 people have been rescued from flood affected areas. The rains, which began on Thursday, caused widespread destruction in many areas by Sunday, forcing thousands of people to flee. Most parts of eastern and central Nepal have been submerged due to heavy rains since Friday. More than 20,000 security personnel, including Nepal Army, Armed Police Forces and Nepal Police, have been deployed for search, rescue and relief.
