State Chief Secretary Radha Raturi emotionally remembered Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri by garlanding their portraits on their birth anniversary at the Secretariat. During this he said that the thoughts and principles of Mahatma Gandhi are relevant for us even today.

Chief Secretary Radha Raturi said that Vaishnav Jan, the favorite hymn of the Father of the Nation Gandhi, contains a complete philosophy, which inspires us to maintain many human values ​​of life. We should take inspiration to follow the path of truth, non-violence and love. The life of Mahatma Gandhi teaches us that truth and service to humanity are most important. We should follow the path shown by him, so that we can build a better society. Raturi said that a true tribute to Gandhi would be for government servants to perform their duties and responsibilities while keeping public interest as the highest priority.

On this occasion, Gandhi's favorite bhajan Vaishnav Jan was sung collectively by Bhatkhande Music College.
