Mumbai, 02 October (HS). The accused, who had threatened to kill Maharashtra Food and Civil Supplies Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, was arrested by the police from Ashti area of Beed district on Wednesday. The police presented the accused in Nashik court today itself and the court has sent the accused to police custody for one day.
According to the police, on Tuesday the accused had threatened to kill Chhagan Bhujbal. The accused had also abused Chhagan Bhujbal through messages. The complaint regarding this matter was lodged at Ambad Police Station in Nashik district. On Wednesday, the police arrested the accused from Ashti area of Beed district. The accused has been identified as Ravindra Yashwant Dhanak. The police is trying to find out the reasons for threatening the accused.
