Cleanliness campaign launched in National Sugar Institute and CSA Father of the Nation remembered | News India

Kanpur, 02 October (Hindustan Reporter). On the birthday of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, cleanliness campaign was conducted in National Sugar Institute and CSA. Along with this, various programs were organized under the motto of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Swachhta Hi Seva, in which officers, employees and students participated enthusiastically. During this, an oath regarding cleanliness was also administered and a rally was also taken out for awareness.

Swachhata Hi Seva-2024 program was celebrated at National Sugar Institute, Kanpur from 14 September to 2 October. During this period, officers, employees working in the institute and students studying in various courses of the institute took various activities under the motto of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Swachhta Hi Seva, such as taking oath for cleanliness, cleaning together at various places, street plays etc. Took active part in programs etc. Officers, employees and students studying in various courses of the institute took out a cleanliness awareness rally.

Director of National Sugar Institute, Prof. Seema Paroha said that a healthy soul resides only in a healthy body. If there is cleanliness all around us, our body will remain healthy and huge amount of money spent on treatment will be saved. Along with this we will also be able to fulfill Bapu's dreams. Ashok Kumar Garg, Brijesh Kumar Sahu, Dr. Lokesh Babar, Akhilesh Kumar Pandey, Mihir Mandal, Kuldeep Rana and all the officers, staff and students of the institute made significant contribution in the cleanliness program organized on this occasion.

Father of the Nation remembered by offering floral tribute

Gandhi Parv/International Day of Non-Violence was organized at Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology (CSA) on the occasion of 155th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. Vice Chancellor Dr. Anand Kumar Singh paid homage to the portraits of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri by garlanding them. During this, Bapu ji's favorite hymn Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram… and you have given me a lot, Lord… and you have given us freedom without rock and without shield, Saint of Sabarmati, you have done wonders… by singing songs to everyone. Mesmerized. The Vice Chancellor said that Bapu liberated the country from the British on the basis of non-violence. That is why Bapu still resides in the hearts of people. Dr. Singh said that Bapu did not consider it appropriate to become a senior officer after obtaining a barrister degree. Rather, he dedicated his entire life to the service of the country and society.

On this occasion, debate, slogan and poster competition were also organized by the students. During this, all the directors, deans, heads of departments, teachers, scientists and employees of the university were present.
