Weather Update- The withdrawal of monsoon is still going on in many states. Due to which it is raining continuously. The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in Northeast India and Peninsular India on Wednesday.
Along with this, there may be heavy rain in some parts of Bihar and Eastern India. The Meteorological Department said that a new cyclonic circulation is forming over the North Bay of Bengal (BoB). It is likely to become stronger in the next 24 hours. Its impact may last on the eastern and central parts of the country from 5 to 10 October.
The Meteorological Department said that due to this cyclonic circulation formed in the Bay of Bengal, there may be heavy rains in West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and East Madhya Pradesh. According to Skymet Weather, this cyclonic circulation will not affect monsoon activity. Monsoon will withdraw from North and Central India within the next 7 days, due to which this system will not be able to reach the interior parts of the country. This weather system will continue over these areas and eventually turn north-east and affect Bangladesh and Northeast India.
Releasing the latest update on Wednesday, the Meteorological Department said that two cyclonic winds still remain over India. One near Capcomorin in Tamil Nadu and the other near North East Division of Assam. Due to the cyclone formed in Assam, there is a possibility of heavy rain in all the northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and Manipur on Wednesday.
Along with this, due to the cyclone formed in Tamil Nadu, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in the northeastern states for the next five days and parts of southern peninsular India for the next three days.
Barpeta division of Assam, Meghalaya division received 190 mm rainfall on Wednesday, Dekyajuli in Assam received 180 mm rainfall and Upper Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim received 100 mm rainfall on Wednesday. However, monsoon rains still continue in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and surrounding states. There are thunderstorms in some parts.
