Jalaun, 01 October (Hindustan Reporter). On International Old Age Day, District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar Pandey honored the elderly and senior citizens living in the old age home of the headquarters by distributing fruits and gifting them clothes.
He said that we should serve the elderly not only on this day but every day. He directed the concerned officers to take maximum benefit from the public welfare schemes of the Central and State Government. The elderly people expressed their desire to the District Magistrate to conduct a pilgrimage to Mathura, on which the District Magistrate directed the Social Welfare Officer to conduct all the elderly devotees on a pilgrimage to Mathura on 7th and 8th October.
