UPI Service: Now you will not have to do currency exchange in Nepal, you will be able to make online payment through UPI

Today NPC has made an important announcement regarding UPI. NPC said that now payments can be made through Unified Payment Interface (UPI) in Nepal also. According to the official statement of NPC, UPI users can now scan QR codes to make payments to Nepali merchants.

An agreement was signed between National Payments Corporation of India International Payments (NIPL) and PhonePe Payment Service, Nepal's largest payment network, in September 2023.

NPC said in its statement that after the partnership with First Face, Indian consumers can use UPI based apps like Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay etc. to make online payments through UPI at many merchant stores in Nepal. Can make payment. In this, UPI users can make online payments in a secure and convenient manner.

The launch of UPI in Nepal will “revolutionize” cross-border transactions between citizens of the two countries.

NIPL Chief Executive Officer Ritesh Shukla said that
