Raisen/Bhopal, 8 March (HS). Late Friday evening, the chief guest of the three-day “Mahadev” festival organized in the premises of the world famous Bhojpur Shiv temple of Raisen district on the occasion of Mahashivratri festival, former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Minister of State for Health and Medical Education Narendra Shivaji Patel, MLA Surendra Patwa and District Panchayat President. The program was inaugurated by Yashwant Meena by lighting the lamp. Before this, everyone worshiped in the Shiva temple.
On the first day of the three-day “Mahadev” Mahotsav, Baredi-Badhaai folk dance was presented by Jugal Kishore Namdev and companions of Sagar, “Mahadev” Leelanatya under the direction of Shirish Rajpurohit of Ujjain and devotional singing by Aakriti Mehra and companions of Bhopal.
“Mahadev” Mahotsav in Bhojpur on the second day on March 9, Matki folk dance by Krishna Verma and companions, Ujjain, Satish Leela Natya under the direction of Suman Saha, Kolkata, Shivshakti singing and dance by Sudha Raghuraman and companions, Delhi and Bhakti by Dhvani Brothers, Bhopal. Singing will be presented. On the last day of the festival, on 10th March, folk singing will be presented by Sheela Tripathi and her companions, Bhopal, group dance centered on Mahadev will be presented by Amita Khare and her companions, Bhopal and devotional singing will be presented by Raksha Srivastava and her companions.
