Araria 01 October(HS). Due to the increase in the water level of the rivers flowing through Araria district, relief work is being done by the district administration in the affected areas. In this series, on Tuesday, District Officer Anil Kumar and Superintendent of Police Amit Ranjan took stock of Narpatganj block area.
During the inspection, people living in the relief camp run in Pravi Sardar Tola, Manikpur were told that all necessary facilities are being provided here. Six hundred people are being fed food through the community kitchen. The health team of the people has checked their health and distributed necessary medicines. Similarly, the work of treating animals in the area is being done by the veterinary team. During this time, the District Magistrate directed the concerned officials to continuously monitor and ensure continuous monitoring of the operation of community kitchens, health camps and boats in the affected areas.
Phulkaha Panchayat Ward 07 of Narpatganj block was also inspected by the District Officer. In which the villagers told that the water level has decreased. Similarly, the District Magistrate visited various affected areas of Jokihat block area. In this sequence, many necessary guidelines were given to the concerned officer. Sub-divisional officers Forbesganj and Araria and related officials were present on the occasion.
