Bhopal, March 8 (HS). State School Education and Transport Minister Uday Pratap Singh inaugurated the Mahashivratri fair festival in Gadarwara late on Friday evening. He first worshiped Lord Shri Ganesha. After that, the fair was formally inaugurated by cutting the ribbon.
In the program, Minister Singh wished for the happiness and prosperity of the countrymen and people of the state. He said that this fair organized by Damrughati Committee has its own identity in Mahakoshal area. Work will be done to further improve and expand the format of the fair. He said that efforts will be made to include the fair in the gazette notification so that the government can also support the fair.
He told that when he was the President of Chanwarpatha Janpad Panchayat, he had organized the fair 6 times in Barman. He told that a large number of people from other districts come to this fair. The form of this fair is worth seeing. In the same way, this fair will also be given shape. From next year, efforts will be made to set up stalls of the department so that the people coming here can get the benefits of various schemes of the government. Apart from this, an action plan is being prepared to systematically develop Gadarwara city. A stop dam cum bridge is also being planned in Gadarwara, so that water can be conserved and conserved in the city. Special attention is also being given to education and roads in Gadarwara.
Former MLA Sadhna Sthapak and Municipal President Shivkant Mishra also gave his address in the program. Collector Shitala Patle, Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar, Minendra Daga, councilors of the municipality and a large number of citizens were present in the program.
