Air India Free Baggage Limit: Tata Group-owned airline Air India has changed its free baggage policy. Passengers flying in Air India's 'Economy Comfort' and 'Comfort Plus' fare classes will be allowed to carry 15 kg of check-in baggage, the airline said in a notification issued to travel agents. The new free salary limit has come into effect from Thursday.

Air India will allow passengers paying higher fares under 'Economy Flex' to carry hand luggage up to 25 kg and will also provide them other facilities like no change fee on tickets.

An Air India spokesperson said that on routes like Delhi-Mumbai, there will be a difference of about Rs 1,000 in 'Comfort Plus' and 'Flex' fares, but there will be 10 kg extra luggage, zero change or cancellation fee, more loyalty points and free options. .
