Mumbai: A prequel to Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankar's acclaimed film '12 We Fail' is being made titled 'Starting from Zero'. This film will be released on 13 December.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra made the announcement while accepting the Best Director award for the film at the IIFA Awards.
He said that the cast of the original film will be repeated in the prequel.
12th Fail is based on the inspiring life story of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and his wife and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. The film has received a lot of appreciation. Last week too, a special screening of the film was organized in the Supreme Court, where judges including Chief Justice Dhananjay Chandrachud watched the film.
