Mumbai: Borivali Magistrate Court on Monday directed Mumbai Police to investigate against actress Raveena Tandon on the complaint of social activist Mohsin Shaikh. The court has directed the police to submit the report by January 3, 2025. The next date of hearing of the case will be on March 1, 2025. In his complaint, Mohsin Shaikh has demanded action against the actress under sections 500 and 506 of the IPC. Mohsin Shaikh posted a video of Raveena Tandon's alleged road rage incident on his Twitter handle. In an interview to Mid-Day, Shaikh said that after sharing the video, many influential people associated with Raveena, including politicians, pressured her to remove the video.
Shaikh said that false allegations of extortion have been leveled against him. In June this year, Raveena's driver was reversing the car inside a society in Bandra when four members of the same family walking on the road stopped him and told the driver that before reversing he should have checked whether there were people behind. Are not. Police had said in June that when Raveena tried to save her driver, the mob attacked her.
