Well-known physician Dr. Bimal Chhajed said in an interview on YouTube, “This is a naturally occurring disease. People's lifestyle is deteriorating, they are not doing physical hard work, eating too much fatty food, there is too much stress. Apart from this, smoking, tobacco, gutkha. All these together are increasing heart disease.”
How does a heart attack happen?
Dr. Bimal said, “There are three tubes in the heart, which carry blood to the heart. A layer of fat accumulates inside them. If we eat fat and do not break it down, it keeps getting stored inside. The name of this fat is 'cholesterol triglyceride'. As it accumulates, it blocks the tubes. Until 70 to 80 percent blockage occurs, it is not even detected. Then this blockage increases. So one day or the other it turns into a heart attack. Heart attack means 100 percent blockage. Heart attack blockage can be reduced at any stage.”
“A child is born with no blockages. Then it increases for 10 years, 15 years, then 20 years. Till then there will be no problem if he eats fat also. The day its growth stops, height stops increasing. The fat formed after that will not be useful for growth. Now it will either grow in breadth or inside the heart.”
people wake up late
According to Dr. Bimal, “The day you start having difficulty walking, understand that there is 70 to 80 percent blockage. That means no one reaches the doctor before this stage. There should be prevention at every stage, but the common man does not do anything until he faces a problem, but prevention should be done well in advance.”
There are many reasons for heart attack
Dr. Bimal Chhajed said, “There are many reasons for heart disease, there is not just one reason, but there are 14 reasons. High cholesterol in blood, high triglyceride in food, blood pressure, blood sugar, obesity, smoking, eating too much oil, eating too much non-veg, eating less fruits, drinking too much milk or eating too much milk butter, too many. Taking stress, walking less, not doing yoga etc. If there are 2 to 4 major reasons out of these, the speed of blockage will increase.”
Why are youth having heart attacks?
Dr. Bimal has given the shocking reason behind this, he said, “In earlier times, heart disease used to occur at the age of 60, i.e. it started at the age of 20 and then heart attack used to occur at the age of 60, i.e. It used to take 40 years for the blockage to occur. That means if there is 80 percent blockage in 40 years, then it is happening at the rate of 2 percent per year.”
“Now today's youth are under stress, eating unhealthy food, smoking, they do not have time for exercise, they are overweight, so many other reasons due to which the rate of blockage has increased. . If someone is getting 4 percent blockage every year, then by the age of 40 there will be 80 percent blockage. If someone is getting blockage at the rate of 6 percent per year, then he will become a heart patient by the age of 30. This means that due to the speed of blockage, heart attacks are occurring in younger people.”
