Guwahati, 30 September (Hindustan Reporter). Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that the development of Assam is not visible from Congress. He said that Karnataka minister and son of Mallikarjun Kharge is not liking the coming of semiconductor industry to Assam.

The Chief Minister said that today the time has come when ministers of developed states like Karnataka are comparing Assam with Karnataka. The Chief Minister was talking to journalists here today.

The Chief Minister said that Assam is continuously paving the way for development. More than one lakh unemployed people have been given jobs safely. In response to another question, the Chief Minister said that MP Gaurav Gogoi is somewhere jealous because one lakh people did not get jobs during the tenure of his father Tarun Gogoi.

The Chief Minister said that during the time of Congress, corruption was rampant in jobs. The Chief Minister said that with the establishment of semiconductor industry in Assam, the youth of Assam working in Karnataka will return. He said that he will show it by running the semiconductor industry through the people of Assam. The Chief Minister said that he has a commitment to bring Assam into the category of five leading states of the country. During this, the Chief Minister also answered other questions of the journalists.
