This year Sarva Pitru Amas is on 2 October 2024. There will be a solar eclipse tonight. The solar eclipse will start on the night of October 2 and will last for about 3 hours till midnight. The solar eclipse will end even before the eclipse. But on Shardiya Navratri, before performing Ghatasthapana, it is necessary to take bath and do charity. The eclipse occurring on Sarva Pitru Amasa is the last solar eclipse of the year. This eclipse will not be visible in India, hence its sleeping period will not be valid. But take bath after solar eclipse and also donate to avoid the bad effects of eclipse.
What to do after solar eclipse?
After the solar eclipse ends, sweep the house and take bath. Sprinkle warm Ganga water after bath. Then donate as much as you can to the poor. Gram, wheat, jaggery, banana, milk, fruits and pulses can be donated on this day. By doing this work one gets success in life and problems of life go away.
