Mumbai: The release of Pakistani film 'The Legend of Maula Jatt' in India has been postponed. Due to the uproar, theater owners are not ready to release this film.

After the Uri attack, the release of Pakistani films was banned in India. Pakistani artists were also banned from working in films in India. However, this ban was lifted after a court decision. Therefore, it was decided to release the Pakistani film 'The Legend of Maula Jatt' in India for the first time after a period of ten years. The film has many actors including Fawad Khan and Mahira.

However, MANS, Uddhav group's Shiv Sena and other organizations in India opposed the release of the film. He said that it is true that art has no boundaries but this does not apply to Pakistani artists or films. Due to the tone of protest, theater owners were hesitant in allocating screens for the film. Due to this its release has become uncertain.
