New Delhi: A case of gross negligence has come to light in Air India's Delhi-New York flight. A complaint has come to light about finding cockroaches in the omelette served to a passenger during the journey. Mother and son got food poisoning after eating this. An airline spokesperson said that necessary action will be taken to prevent such incidents in future.
A female passenger complained in an internet media post that cockroaches were found in the omelette served on flight AI 101 on 17 September 2024. By the time her eyes fell on the cockroach, she had eaten half the omelette. Her two-year-old child also ate some of the omelette, causing both of them food poisoning. He has shared videos and pictures in this regard on social media. Odhar India spokesperson said that they have received information about the internet post made by the female passenger. He said that special care will be taken to ensure that such incidents do not happen in future.
