In Luxor, police made girl students aware about cyber crime and drugs | News India

Haridwar, 28 September (HS). In the present times, drug addiction and cyber crime have emerged as a serious challenge, awareness is the only solution to stop them. To stop drug and cyber crime, the Uttarakhand government is running the Nasha Mukti Devbhoomi Abhiyan 2025, under which the police is working to make people aware about drugs and cyber.

Under this campaign, Laksar Police organized a police school at Kisan Inter College, Laksar. In this program, girl students were made aware about cyber crime and fatal diseases caused by drugs. Apart from this, the students were made aware about new laws, crime against women, child crime, self-defense, cyber fraud and ways to avoid cyber crimes and police helpline number 112.

Senior Sub Inspector Manoj Gairola, who is leading the programme, said that the police is organizing such workshops by visiting various schools, so that the students can become aware of the dangers of drugs and cyber crimes and know the ways to avoid them.
