Ranchi, 28 September (Hindustan Reporter). A delegation of Ranchi Metropolitan Shri Durga Puja Committee met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Chief Minister's residential office on Kanke Road, Ranchi on Saturday. The members of the delegation invited the Chief Minister to visit various puja pandals with his family to have darshan of Mata Rani.
The members of the delegation presented the idol and chunari of Maa Durga to the Chief Minister and informed about the preparations for Durga Puja. The members of the delegation said that like every year, this year also Ranchi Metropolitan Shri Durga Puja Committee expects cooperation from the state government. The members of the delegation expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister and also thanked him.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren assured the members of Ranchi Mahanagar Shri Durga Puja Committee that the state government always stands with various Durga Puja committees including Ranchi Mahanagar Shri Durga Puja Committee. Like every year, this year too the puja committees will get full support from the district administration. The Chief Minister also congratulated the members of Ranchi Metropolitan Shri Durga Puja Committee.
On this occasion, Convenor of Ranchi Metropolitan Shri Durga Puja Committee Ajit Sahay, Deputy Convenor (Chairman, Jharkhand Cow Seva Commission) Rajiv Ranjan Prasad, Co-convenor Jaisingh Yadav, President Chanchal Chatterjee, Senior Vice President Rajan Verma, Executive President Pradeep Rai Babu along with Ashok Yadav, Nitin Jai Yadav, Amarnath Sahu, Sanjay Sinha Gopu, Ramesh Singh, Sanjay Minocha, Sagar Kumar and others were present.
