New Delhi, 28 September (Hindustan Reporter). Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday remembered Shaheed Bhagat Singh on his 117th birth anniversary, saying that he was an embodiment of courage and bravery.
The Prime Minister posted a video clip on Instagram and wrote, “Hundreds of thousands of salutes to the immortal Shaheed Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary, who sacrificed his life to protect the honor of the motherland.”
The Prime Minister said in the video clip that on behalf of all the countrymen, he salutes Shaheed Bhagat Singh, an icon of courage and bravery. He said that without worrying about their lives, Bhagat Singh and his revolutionary comrades carried out such courageous actions which had a huge contribution in the independence of the country.
