Gopeshwar, 27 September (Hindustan Reporter). Chamoli District Superintendent of Police Sarvesh Panwar conducted a surprise inspection of Fire Service Gopeshwar on Friday. During this, he carefully examined all the equipment related to fire extinguishing and disaster management. The fire engines, fire vehicles, fire extinguishers, tanks and safety equipment present in the fire station were thoroughly inspected and their functionality and maintenance was assessed.
Panwar said that Chamoli district often faces natural disasters, hence the role of fire service is very important. Complete preparation of all equipment and staff is necessary for quick and effective action at the time of disaster. During this inspection, fire personnel demonstrated their capabilities by demonstrating various disaster equipment.
Further, the SP organized a conference with the employees, in which the employees presented their problems and suggestions. Panwar listened to their problems seriously and assured to take every possible step to solve them.
