Saharsa, 27 September (Hindustan Reporter). A two-day national seminar was inaugurated on Friday under the joint aegis of Sahitya Parishad New Delhi and East N West Teachers Training College in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Focused on eminent scholars of Maithili literature Ramkrishna Jha Kisun, Prabodh Narayan Singh and Anima Singh. A two-day centenary seminar was organized.
The program was inaugurated jointly by Dr. Rajneesh Ranjan, Chairman of East N West Foundation Patna and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Manisha Ranjan, Senate member of Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University, Kumar Vikramaditya, Principal NK Jha and Sahitya Akademi advisory member Raman Kumar Singh. It was done by lighting the lamp. On behalf of the organizing committee, all the guests were honored by presenting Paag chadar, insignia and flower bouquet. Under the direction of college professor cum public relations officer Abhay Manoj, the speakers presented their articles in detail about the three great men. Calling him a great man and calling him the father of Maithili movement.
Chairman of the program, Dr. Rajneesh Ranjan said that a centenary seminar is being organized focusing on the biographies of the three great litterateurs and writers who have left an indelible mark in the field of Maithili literature and their contribution in the development of Maithili which will be useful for the coming generations. Will prove to be inspiring.
In the first session of the seminar, the program focused on Ramkrishna Jha Kisun was presided over by Dr. Subhash Chandra Yadav, articles were read by Kedar Kanan, Raman Kumar Singh, Arun Kumar Singh, Amrita Chaudhary, Kumar Rahul. The first session was conducted by Kislay Krishna. In the second session of the first day, the Maithili play 'Hatik Dant' written by Prabodh Narayan Singh was presented under the direction of Kundan Kumar Verma of the local organization Shashi Sarojini Theater Service Institute. Also, the staging of the play Sata Ke Mad was acted and directed by Prabhati Kamalini Ramakrishna. Jha Kisun's poem was successfully staged. Apart from this, a folk song compiled by Anima Singh was presented by Deepika Chandra.
Apart from Prakash Jha, Praveen Kumar Singh, Phoolchand Jha and many other scholars of Maithili literature from Delhi, many other scholars of Maithili literature will be present in the program focused on Prabodh Narayan Singh in the third session on the second day of the seminar. This seminar has been organized for the second time under the joint auspices of Sahitya Parishad and East N West under the chairmanship of Rajneesh Ranjan. On this occasion, Raja Pota Balgar written by Hitnath Jha, Amazing Gonu Jha written by Uday Nath Jha, Yatha Prasang written by Abhilasha and many others were also organised. The book was released. On this occasion, litterateurs Dr. Bhimnath Jha, Dr. Mahendra, Dr. Vibhuti Anand, Dr. Prakash Jha, Dr. Neeta Jha, Phoolchand Jha, Dr. Arun Kumar, Ramkumar Singh, Sanjay Vashishtha, Rajesh Ranjan, Sunil Kumar Jha, Pt. Tarun Jha, Sanjay Kumar Karan, Amit Anand and others were present.
