India's 'Central Drugs Standard Control Organization' (CDSCO) has banned medicines of some pharmaceutical companies. These companies also manufacture medicines for diabetes, high BP, acidity, allergy and fever. CDSCO said that medicines of some companies were sent for special testing in the lab to check their quality. In which the medicines used for common diseases have completely failed. CDSCO has failed a total of 53 medicines. These 53 medicines are those which are most used in daily life. Allergy, Diabetes, Fever, High BP, Acidity and Medicine. People are scared after these medicines failed in lab tests. The public wondered whether they were taking bad medications.
Paracetamol 500 mg manufactured by Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Limited failed the quality test, Pan-D medicine of Alkem Health Science Company also failed the lab test. Pure and Cure Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.'s Montere LC test failure. Vitamin C and D3 tablets Shellac, Vitamin B complex and Vitamin C softgels are among the 53 top-selling medicines that have failed quality checks by the drug regulator. These medicines are manufactured by Hetero Drugs, Alkem Laboratories, Hindustan Antibiotics Limited. (HAL), Karnataka Antibiotics & Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Meg Lifesciences, Pure & Cure Healthcare and others, The drug used to cure stomach infections is manufactured by PSU Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd (HAL). The quality check of those medicines has also failed.
The company said that there is no need to worry. Medicine for high BP and diabetes failed in lab test. Diabetes medicine manufacturing company M/s, Mascot Health Series Pvt. Ltd's Gilmepiride as well as BP control drug maker Telmisartan failed quality checks.
