Haridwar, September 26 (HS). Flag hoisting took place today in the old Ramlila of Haridwar as well as in the Ramlilas of Kankhal, BHEL, Jwalapur and Ramnagar etc. The staging of these plays will begin from Friday.
The flag hoisting of the big Ramlila of Haridwar was done with a procession.
All the office bearers of the committee performed Ganga Puja at Brahmakund Harki Pauri and hoisted the religious flag at Shri Ramleela Bhawan. President Virendra Chaddha said that by following religion, society gets inspiration to follow the right path.
Former president and senior member Gangasharan Madadgaar said that this time the complete centenary year is being celebrated by Shri Ramleela Committee Haridwar.
