Mandsaur, September 26 (HS). Social worker Sunil Bansal immersed the urns containing the ashes of 80 destitute and poor deceased in Haridwar Ganga Ji as per rituals and prayed for the salvation of the departed souls.
It is worth mentioning that for this pious work, Mr. Bansal and his companions Bharat Shinde, Sajjan Khimsara, Chandrashekhar Nigam, Shambhusen Rathore, Kanhaiyalal Daya, Banshi Sahu, Suresh Rathore, Rohit Kumawat left for Haridwar from Mandsaur carrying the urns containing the ashes of 80 deceased persons. Out of these, 13 urns contained the ashes of monkeys as well.
Mr Bansal and his companions performed the Tarpan ritual on the banks of Maa Gangaji and immersed all the urns of ashes in the Gangaji after 5 hours of rituals as per Hindu customs and rituals after worship and Pinddaan. A Brahma Bhojan was also organized in the memory of the departed.
