State BJP President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi said that the Hemant government is once again preparing to collect election money and loot by changing the excise policy. Marandi said on Thursday that even before getting the approval of the cabinet, the news of the liquor tender has been leaked and is circulating on the tender portal of the Internet.
Marandi raised the question that how did it come out before the cabinet meeting that what is being changed in the policy and its tender is going to be issued? Is an attempt being made to take unethical advantage by giving unethical benefits to a particular person/group by leaking the news of the tender? The Hemant government bringing the liquor policy again and the leaking of this news on the tender portal even before the cabinet meeting shows that the government is preparing to execute the third big scam one after the other under the guise of the liquor policy. Marandi said that the Hemant Soren government, notorious for scams, theft and fraud, is preparing to commit a big liquor scam once again before leaving.
Marandi said that earlier also I had expressed concern about the possible liquor scams in Jharkhand. The Chief Minister was warned about this but he completely ignored morality and adopted the path of manipulation. Forced by the habit of earning more and more money, Hemant Soren wants to raise black money for the elections by changing the liquor policy for the third consecutive time. Marandi said that today I am again making it public in front of the public that a conspiracy of liquor scam is being hatched for the third time in Jharkhand. Last time liquor mafias of Chhattisgarh were involved in it while this time a plan is being made to bring liquor mafias of Punjab and Haryana. The script of this scam is also being written from Birsa Munda Jail.
Marandi said that I also assure the people of Jharkhand that this proposed liquor policy will be cancelled when the BJP government comes to power. Strict action will be taken against the liquor mafias from Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Haryana and the officials involved in the scam.
