Patiala : The man who committed indecent acts with girl students in Punjabi University campus is still out of the university's grasp even after two weeks. Despite the deployment of more than 200 security guards in the campus, this man could not be controlled. According to the information received, a man was found committing indecent acts with women in Urban Estate Phase-2 here at 6 am on Wednesday. But no one caught this man.
However, on Wednesday, this person entered the university campus from the main gate. But he did not commit any obscene act in the campus. According to the information given by the university officials, this person enters the campus by changing his disguise, sometimes from the back side of the university and sometimes from the main gate.
Due to which identifying him has become a challenge for the university's security guards. On the other hand, Dean Students Welfare Monica Chawla says that this person will be caught soon.

On Wednesday, a man was caught on CCTV cameras installed in Punjabi University doing obscene acts with girl students. The university administration released two footages of the man from the CCTV cameras. In one photo, a man wearing a turban comes to the university campus on a blue Activa and in the other photo, an Activa of a different color without a turban comes to the campus from the main gate of the university.
This person could not be identified. It is worth noting that there are 200 CCTV cameras installed in the university campus. However, the administrative officials have tightened the security, which the concerned person is also aware of. Due to which he came to the campus on Wednesday, but did not do any obscene act.
Complaints from various students
According to information, the case of indecent behaviour with girl students in Punjabi University campus has been going on for the last twenty days. In this case, the Dean of Students' Welfare of the University has received three complaints from different students.
Last week, the person concerned indulged in obscene acts with the girl students at various places in the campus. The university administration woke up after the girl students complained. At present, the university administration is making all efforts to catch the said person.
