- Pramod Tiwari: The senior UP Congress leader is the deputy leader of the party in the Rajya Sabha. Despite the party's wishes, Pramod Tiwari has refused to contest the Lok Sabha elections.
- PL Punia: Dalit face of UP Congress PL Punia wants his son Tanuj Punia to contest elections from Barabanki.
