Varanasi, 16 February (HS). Dr. Mithilesh Nandini Sharan, the head of Hanumat Niwas Ayodhya, said that Kashi Shabdotsav is not a seminar but the concept of Rashtra Sanatan.
He said that Kashi has a special contribution in setting the standard points of the Indian thought tradition. Kashi not only tells the seeker the path of spiritual practice but also helps him to reach the path of salvation. Kashi guaranteed to give freedom just by words. Lord Shiva is the progenitor of this India.
He said that India is Vishwaguru, it means that India is the Guru of the world and not the Guru of the world. India is a world leader because India considers itself proud and does not look at others with inferiority.
Acharya Mithilesh Nandini Sharan was addressing the seminar on 'Ramrajya: Developed India' on Friday, the second day of the four-day Kashi Shabdonotsav-2024. In the seminar organized on the initiative of the Philosophy Department of the University and World Dialogue Center Kashi in the Gandhi Study Chair Auditorium of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Peethadhishwar Dr. Mithilesh Nandini Sharan, as the keynote speaker, appreciated the program and said that today frustration and depression are increasing rapidly in the world. It is growing which is worth thinking about. For this, India needs to come forward and work.
He said that other countries of the world will also have to work on religious sentiments like India. Unless this remaining world does not allow God to exist within itself. Till then he will remain frustrated. An unbiased matter is complete only when opinion is taken from Vedas, Puranas and saints also. Those who want to go towards the light will have to look towards the east.
In the program, Chairman of the Hindi Department of Kashi Hindu University (BHU), Prof. Anup Vashishtha said that if we want to become successful, we will have to understand our tradition. Our roots will become strong only when we connect with our traditions. For that we have to know Ram and recognize Krishna. He said that the Ramatva of Ram continuously inspires us to establish an egalitarian society. The more meaningful the tone of the words, the more the individual and society will benefit.
Prof. Vashishtha said that Ram is the guardian of the highest point of ideals and is also a visionary. Today, whenever Indian values are discussed, Ram will be the highest value point in the world.
While presiding over the seminar, Mahant Shankar Puri of Annapurna Temple mentioned the Kakabhushundi Leela during the childhood of Lord Rama. He said that there is a special need to present the essence of various pastimes of Lord Ram from his childhood to youth in the society today.
